Learn Spanish in VigoLINGUAMANIA has offered Spanish Courses for foreigners since 2005. As a small and welcoming language school in Vigo (Northwest of Spain) , we pride ourselves in receiving course participants from all over the world. Classes typically have a very culturally diverse set of students coming from many different places in Europe, U.S.A., Canada, China, Taiwan and Japan, which makes the experience of studying Spanish even more interesting and international than you can ever imagine. Many of our students make friendships that last for a long time after their courses end.
The Spanish language needs of our students are very diverse, ranging from exam preparation for General Spanish to Business Spanish, Spanish for tourism and travels and Spanish for Au Pairs, etc. We also specialize in exam preparation for Certificado Cervantes (DELE). In addition, we are officially recognized as an examination center for the Madrid Chamber of Commerce official exams in Spanish as a Business Language and Spanish for Tourism.
LINGUAMANIA is also listed as an official provider of language courses to the European Parliament and is a verified member of the Global
Language Association. We have joined FIDESCU, as an accredited examination center for Diploma Internacional de Español (D.I.E.) and we are
also accredited by the Madrid Chamber of Commerce for Business and Tourism Spanish.
Finally, we are proud to inform that Linguamania has received the Award of Unique Language School of the year, in 2018 and in 2019 delivered
by the IStudy Guide (Great Britain).
Intensive and extensive courses in small groups (Max. 8 students). One to One and Two to One lessons offered too.
New intensive courses start the 1st Monday of each month and 1st and 3rd Monday of the month between June and September.

As a small school we adapt to your needs. In a larger group, we will always try to use the communicative method without forgetting the use of listening, writing, reading and grammar. You will also maintain direct contact with our staff and teachers.
During summer, we organise 2 excursions per week and tapas meetings. During the rest of the year, the city and all the villages around offer plenty of variety of cultural events. Also dancing, surfing and cooking lessons are possible.
If you come for a short period of time and wish to make the most of your stay, you can ask to be with a Spanish host family or share an apartment with Spanish people.

En el primer día de clase estábamos muy nerviosos, pero nuestra profesora fue muy amable. Ella hizo las clases divertidas. Nosotros hemos aprendido mucho gramática y mucho vocabulario. Ahora nuestras estamos intentando hablar más. Además nosotros nos divertimos jugando, porque los juegos nos hacían pensar. Nuestro viaje por “España” acaba de comenzar.

¡Gracias a Linguamania! He pasado dos semanas aprendiendo a la escuela con mi profesora Elena. Ella ha planificado clases hechas a medida para solucionar mis lagunas y mejorar mi fluidez y vocabulario. POLONIA
I came to Spain for a month, to learn Spanish as best as I can. I’ve been living with a Spanish host, which was a great idea, because It didn’t give me any option other than speaking the language that I wanted to learn. After this month I can truly tell the difference in my skills, I’m more open to comunicating with others and willing to try and speak even if I do not know the proper words. I still have a long wat to go, but I can tell, that during this month I’ve learnt more than I did ever before.

El curso está muy bien organizado. La escuela está muy cerca del centro, así que es fácil llegar con los autobuses, y provee todo el material necesario para las clases. The standard option, the intensive course, consists of 20 lessons per week in a group of minimum 3 students from Monday to Friday. The typical timetable is from 10 am to 1.30 pm including a short break. During the break we all go (students, teachers and staff) to get a coffee in a terrace. Classes are formed by students' level of Spanish from A1 to C1/C2. Because of the small classes, the teacher can give individual support and classes are intensive. Besides the Spanish language, the Galician and Spanish culture is an integral part of the Spanish classes at Linguamania. On the last day of your course you will receive a certificate of attendance indicating the dates of the course and the level achieved.
For those seeking and even more flexible and intensive experience, we recommend private lessons, the so called one-to-one course. You have the benefit of deciding the topic to be discussed during the individual lessons. If you come together with a friend who has the same level of Spanish, you can alternatively go for the individual lessons with one teacher and two students, called the Two-To-One course. Lesson timetable is flexible (Monday to Friday), depending on availability. Rates vary in accordance to the program selected, so please contact us for a quote on your personal customized course series. On the last day of your course you will receive a certificate of attendance indicating the dates of your course and the level achieved.
We are happy to receive High School trips between April and June. The course lasts at
least 1 week and includes classes during morning time, 2 excursions in Vigo and one to
Santiago de Compostela during afternoons, transfers from Vigo International airport,
accommodation in a 2* hotel with half board option. We take care of everything. Students
must be between 15 and 18 years old and must travel with one or several adults from the
visiting school. The school is not responsible for the kids outside class. Host family
option is available for small groups.

In the DELE examination course you are prepared for the Instituto Cervantes official DELE exam.
At the end of the course you can take part in the exam and if you pass, you will be handed the
only internationally recognized certificate for the Spanish language. The exam is not included
in the course price and should be requested more than 2 months in advance. You can take the exam
around 5 times a year. In Spain, but also in your home country. You can find more information
on the DELE exam website.

For those who want to learn Spanish, but only have limited time available, we recommend the Extensive course. This course consists of 2 Spanish lessons, once or twice a week. Lessons are usually held during the afternoon or at evening. Timetable and available levels may vary throughout the year. We offer also a special timetable for Au-Pairs during morning time. Before reserving this course, please come by our school or send us an email with your request and we will let you know what we have available at the moment.
Spanish courses are available at any point throughout the year for a minimum of one week.
They need to be scheduled in advance. Courses start every first Monday of the month. If a
Monday falls on a Holiday, the first day of class will be on Tuesday. From June to September:
intensive courses will start every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. Summer Intensive courses
have a minimum length of 2 weeks. The rest of the year courses start on the first Monday of
the month and have a minimum length of 1 week.
